wall-mounted vinyl player connects with CD and cassette decks for triple listening session

By matthew burgos I designboom

Hi-Fi brand TRETTITRE brings back the retro audio devices with a series of wall-mounted wireless vinyl, CD, and cassette players for triple listening sessions. A rack holds all of them together in a single vertical installation, designed to unify them all like an artwork on the wall instead of making them separate devices. The modular system comes with four parts, starting with the TTT-W, which is a magnetic modular wall rack. It is flushed against the wall, and four circular magnetic pads are placed separately yet connected, resulting in a vertical design piece.

The three players that mount to the rack are the TTT-LP3 turntable, the TTT-DP3 CD player, and the TTT-CP3 cassette deck, each one designed to the same dimensions and style (steel, in this case), so they sit beside each other as a matched set. The turntable uses a high-precision tonearm and a built-in phono preamp, the amplification stage that brings the low-level signal from a cartridge up to line level, which most modern amplifiers require. The CD player uses a laser pickup mechanism while the cassette deck uses improved noise reduction over standard tape playback. All three connect wirelessly via Bluetooth, removing the need for cables.

The wall-mounted vinyl player also has a lighting function built into its housing, so at night, it doubles as a light when it glows in the dark. The brand TRETTITRE describes it as setting the mood because the player emits light as well as sound, which makes it a design object in the room it occupies instead of just being another audio component. The cassette deck has a metal body and mechanical transport keys, aka physical buttons with tactile resistance for play, stop, rewind, and fast-forward, ditching the touch-sensitive surfaces.

The CD player also comes with tactile buttons, and it’s because the brand wants an audio system for people who play their music with their hands, not with a touchscreen or an app. For anyone who prefers not to wall-mount, TRETTITRE offers a floor stand as an alternative base, where the stand carries the same three players in the same configuration, sitting on the floor rather than hanging on a wall. So far, the brand has launched its campaign and plans to deliver the first batch of the wall-mounted vinyl, CD, and cassette players from May 15th, 2026.
