Jonathan Anderson’s Debut Designs Join Dior’s Storied Legacy in Paris Exhibition

By Alexandria Sillo

This month, La Galerie Dior debuted a new exhibition space that brings visitors on a fashionable journey from the very beginning with the designs of Christian Dior through to today, with Jonathan Anderson’s debut creations. Comprised of nearly 150 pieces, including original sketches, archival documents, and photographs, the exhibition is a testament to the fashion house’s storied legacy that counts Yves Saint Laurent, Maria Grazia Chiuri, Marc Bohan, and other formidable talents among its impressive alumnae.

The experience unfolds across 13 rooms, where visitors take in details of everything from the iconic little black dress to essential accessories such as hats, handbags, and even perfumes. The permanent installation is on view each day aside from Tuesdays, when La Galerie Dior is closed.
