Toshi Yoshida was a Japanese printmaker and painter active in the postwar period, working primarily in woodblock and lithographic techniques. Born in 1911, he developed a practice centered on landscape and figural subjects rendered through bold, simplified forms and restrained color palettes. His work engaged with both traditional Japanese printmaking methods and modernist abstraction.
