Toshi Yoshida was a Japanese printmaker and painter who worked in woodblock and lithography, combining traditional Japanese printing methods with modernist abstraction. Active in the postwar period, he rendered landscape and figural subjects through bold, simplified forms and restrained color palettes. His practice bridged historical technique and contemporary formal reduction.
