Gerard Dillon's Auction Record Jumps 225% with $1.6M Sale

sold for $1.6m (EUR1.38m), more than nine times the low estimate at Adam's Auctioneers in Dublin on May 27.

The sale beat the artist’s previous auction record by $1.11m, a 225% rise.
