Tomb of the Cardinal of Portugal

Bernardo Rossellino was an Italian Renaissance sculptor and architect active in Florence and Rome during the 15th century. Working primarily in marble and stone, he created architectural ornaments, tomb monuments, and devotional reliefs characterized by a refined classical vocabulary and attention to spatial proportion. His commissions included major ecclesiastical and civic projects across central Italy.
