Kenturah Davis is an American artist based in New Haven, Connecticut, known for densely layered portraits rendered by stamping individual letters and words directly onto paper and canvas, building figurative images from accumulated text. Her graphite and oil-based works fuse portraiture with language, treating written words as both mark-making tool and conceptual substrate.
