Charles LeDray is an American artist known for meticulously crafted miniature sculptures carved from wood, bone, and other materials. Working at an exceptionally small scale, often only a few inches high, his pieces depict domestic objects, architectural fragments, and figural forms rendered with surgical precision. His work has been shown at the Whitney Museum of American Art and other major institutions. The tension between the intimacy of scale and the labor-intensive technical skill required to execute each work defines his practice.
