Hilary Sample is an American architect and artist working across drawing, installation, and experimental design practice. Her work interrogates the relationship between built environments, material systems, and spatial perception through large-scale installations and meticulous graphite drawings. Sample teaches and develops projects that occupy the territory between architecture and contemporary art, often employing unconventional materials and construction methods to test the boundaries of inhabitable space.
