Claudy Jongstra is a Dutch textile artist working primarily in hand-woven wool and natural fibers. Her large-scale tapestries employ saturated color and tactile surface manipulation to create works that occupy the boundary between painting and sculpture. Her practice engages with abstraction, materiality, and the sensory properties of traditional weaving techniques applied to contemporary form.
