Julia Scher
Julia Scher is an American artist working with surveillance systems, video installation, and interactive technology since the 1980s. Her practice interrogates the apparatus of security and observation itself, transforming surveillance cameras and monitoring equipment into sites of aesthetic and political inquiry. Working across video, installation, and architectural intervention, she exposes the hidden logics embedded in systems designed to protect and control.
