Sculpture
Moshe Gershuni was an Israeli painter and draftsman whose gestural abstractions emerged from the postwar generation's engagement with European modernism and existential inquiry. Working primarily in oil and ink, his compositions combined gestural mark-making with a restrained palette to create psychologically charged surfaces. Gershuni's practice bridged abstraction and figuration, often suggesting human presence through fragmented forms and concentrated areas of dense linework. His work remained rooted in the Israeli artistic landscape from the 1950s onward.
