Kit Galloway

Kit Galloway is an American artist and pioneer of networked and telecommunications-based art. Working from the 1970s onward, he has created installations and performances that use satellite transmission, video networks, and digital connectivity to collapse distance and enable real-time interaction across geographically dispersed sites. His practice emerged alongside early digital culture and helped establish the conceptual and technical foundations for what would become internet art.
