Blinky Palermo was a German painter and object maker working in abstraction and minimal forms during the postwar period. He created works on paper, canvas, and found materials that combined geometric clarity with subtle chromatic shifts and gestural marks. His practice oscillated between pure abstraction and figuration, often employing commercial materials and unconventional supports. Palermo died in 1977 at age 34.
