Egg Harbor

Naomi Savage was an American photographer and printmaker known for large-scale photogravures and cyanotype works that merged photographic process with fine art materiality. Working from the 1950s onward, she developed a distinctive approach to the photographic print as a sculptural object, often incorporating hand-applied pigments and experimenting with unconventional substrates. Her investigations into the tactile and chemical properties of photographic media positioned the print itself as a primary site of artistic expression rather than a reproductive surface.
