Eugenio Carmi was an Italian artist and designer whose practice bridged abstraction, industrial design, and graphic communication in the postwar period. Working primarily in painting, printmaking, and applied design, he developed a visual language rooted in geometric form and color theory. Based in Genoa, Carmi remained a central figure in Italian modernism from the 1950s until his death in 2016, contributing to the development of design culture across multiple disciplines.
