Video-Film Concert

Jud Yalkut was an American video and film artist who pioneered expanded cinema practices from the 1960s onward. Working with video synthesizers, Super 8 film, and live performance, he created immersive audiovisual environments that merged music, projected imagery, and electronic manipulation in real time. His work emerged from the postwar experimental film tradition and the early video art movement, treating the gallery and concert hall as sites for sensory investigation rather than passive viewing.
