Bram van Velde
Printmaking
Bram van Velde was a Dutch painter and sculptor whose abstract works emerged from a rigorous engagement with color, form, and spatial composition. Active from the early twentieth century through the 1970s, he developed a non-representational visual language distinguished by gestural mark-making and layered compositional structures. His practice bridged European modernism and post-war abstraction.
