Lady Chair

Marco Zanuso was an Italian designer and architect whose practice bridged industrial design, furniture, and spatial planning in the postwar period. Working primarily in Milan from the 1940s onward, he developed a modernist vocabulary that emphasized functional form and the integration of new materials, particularly plastic and aluminum, into domestic and commercial interiors. His work helped establish the language of Italian postwar design, balancing rationalist principles with accessible production methods.
