Greta Von Nessen was an American designer and maker of modernist lighting and domestic objects active in the twentieth century. Working primarily in metal and glass, she developed functional forms that integrated sculptural principles with industrial production. Her work bridged European modernism and American industrial design during a period of significant technological and aesthetic innovation in the home.
