Stop 'Em to Sell 'Em

Jean Carlu was a French graphic designer and typographer whose practice spanned industrial design, exhibition architecture, and poster art across the twentieth century. Working from the 1920s onward, he developed a modernist visual language rooted in geometric clarity and sans-serif letterforms that became foundational to French design culture. His postwar work extended into large-scale institutional commissions and environmental design.
