Finn Juhl was a Danish furniture designer and architect who shaped modernist interiors through sculptural wooden chairs and organic spatial planning. Working from the 1940s onward, he developed a distinctive approach that married Scandinavian craftsmanship with flowing, biomorphic forms that prioritized the human body in motion. His pieces combined teak and other woods with upholstered seating, creating furniture that functioned as three-dimensional sculpture within domestic environments.
