Herbert Leupin was a Swiss graphic designer and illustrator known for bold, reductive poster designs in the postwar period. Working primarily in lithography and commercial graphics, Leupin developed a distinctive visual language characterized by simplified forms, saturated color, and witty figural compositions that distilled complex subjects into memorable commercial images. His work helped define the Swiss modernist graphic tradition of the 1950s and 1960s.
