Hans Hinterreiter was a Swiss painter and muralist whose abstractions combined geometric rigor with chromatic warmth, developed across the postwar decades. Working primarily in oil and fresco, he created large-scale public commissions and gallery works that mediated between constructivist abstraction and lyrical color. His practice bridged Swiss modernism and international abstraction movements of the mid-twentieth century.
