Picasso Study Club

Elizabeth Olds was an American printmaker and painter known for her bold woodcuts and lithographs depicting rural labor, social realism, and American landscapes. Active from the 1920s through the 1980s, she worked across multiple printmaking techniques to capture the dignity of working people and the textures of the American countryside. Her graphic work employed strong linear forms and high-contrast compositions characteristic of early twentieth-century print modernism.
