Gotthard Schuh was a Swiss photographer and photojournalist active from the 1930s through the 1960s. Working primarily in black and white, he documented social conditions, labor, and everyday life across Europe and Asia with a documentary aesthetic that balanced formal composition with human immediacy. His work appeared in major European publications and exhibitions during the mid-twentieth century.
