Olin Dows was an American painter and muralist active in the mid-20th century. Working primarily in oil and fresco, he executed large-scale public commissions during the postwar period, translating scenes of labor and civic life into simplified, monumentally scaled compositions. His work bridged regionalist painting and New Deal mural aesthetics.
