Toyland

Alfonso Iannelli was an American sculptor and architectural ornamentalist active in the early-to-mid twentieth century. Working primarily in cast stone, terra cotta, and bronze, he specialized in decorative and figurative elements for major institutional and commercial buildings. His practice bridged fine art sculpture and applied ornamental design, a distinction that dissolved in the hands of modernist architects who sought integrated aesthetic approaches.
