Paris, Corner Rue Glacière

Hilaire Hiler was an American painter, muralist, and theorist active in the early-to-mid twentieth century. Working primarily in oil and fresco, he developed a modernist visual language that engaged with color theory and geometric abstraction. His practice extended to stage design and writing on art theory.
