Manoli Gold

Wilhelm Deffke was a German graphic designer and typographer active in the early twentieth century. Working primarily in lithography and poster design, he developed a distinctive approach to commercial and cultural advertising that synthesized modernist reduction with legibility. His practice bridged art nouveau sensibility and emerging functionalist principles, establishing him as a significant figure in German design culture between the wars.
