Student and Master

Russell Limbach was an American printmaker and painter active in the postwar period. Working primarily in lithography and watercolor, he developed a distinctive approach to landscape and figurative subjects that combined modernist abstraction with legible form. Based in the United States, Limbach's prints and paintings are held in museum collections.
