Ilia Zdanevich was a Russian avant-garde artist, poet, and typographer active in the early twentieth century. Working across painting, collage, and experimental literature, he was a central figure in the Russian Futurist and Cubo-Futurist movements, particularly known for his radical book design and zaum (transrational) poetry that prioritized sound and visual form over semantic meaning.
