Johann Carl Hedlinger was a Swiss sculptor and medalist active in the 18th century, known principally for his work in relief sculpture and commemorative medals. Working across Europe during a period of renewed classicism, his practice centered on portraiture and allegorical subjects executed in a refined neoclassical idiom.
