Triumphal arch erected in celebration of the entry of King William III

Jan van den Aveelen was a Dutch painter and draughtsman active in the late 17th and early 18th centuries. Working primarily in oil and ink, he produced landscapes, religious compositions, and portrait studies that reflected the conventions of Dutch Golden Age painting.
