Philip Little was an American printmaker working primarily in etching and lithography during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Active from the 1880s onward, he developed a practice centered on landscape and architectural subjects rendered with precise linear technique and tonal control. Little's prints demonstrate a commitment to the etched line as both descriptive and expressive tool, characteristic of the printmaking tradition of his era. His work remains largely documented through institutional print collections.
