Ivan Kožarić was a Croatian sculptor whose practice spanned seven decades of postwar European modernism. Working primarily in stone, bronze, and wood, he developed an abstract formal language that reduced organic forms to essential geometric volumes. Active from the 1950s onward, his work engaged with both constructivist and organic abstraction, establishing him as a significant figure in Yugoslav sculpture during the Cold War period.
