Harrison Fisher was an American illustrator and portraitist active in the early twentieth century. Known for his elegant pen-and-ink drawings and watercolors of fashionable society subjects, Fisher developed a distinctive linear style that dominated American magazine illustration during the 1900s and 1910s. His work appeared regularly in major publications of the era and established conventions for depicting contemporary femininity and leisure that influenced subsequent generations of commercial artists.
