Arlington Nelson Lindenmuth was an American painter and printmaker active in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Working primarily in oil and etching, he developed a practice centered on landscape and architectural subjects rendered with precise draftsmanship. His career spanned from the post-Civil War period through the mid-twentieth century, establishing him as a figure in American regionalist painting.
