Fanny Sanin is a Colombian painter and sculptor working primarily in abstraction since the 1960s. Her practice combines geometric form with a rigorous attention to color relationships and spatial composition, often exploring the dialogue between hard-edged planes and subtle chromatic modulation. Based between Colombia and the United States, she has developed a distinctive vocabulary of intersecting shapes and layered surfaces that engage with both constructivist principles and the luminosity of South American light. Her work bridges postwar modernism and contemporary abstraction.
