Marc Camille Chaimowicz was a British artist working across painting, sculpture, installation, and performance from the 1970s onward. His practice merged minimalist abstraction with domestic intimacy, often incorporating found objects, textiles, and ephemeral materials into gallery and public spaces. He created environments rather than discrete artworks, treating exhibition design itself as a sculptural medium. His work engaged with questions of display, sexuality, and the politics of everyday life within the postwar British art context.
