Iurii Annenkov was a Russian painter, graphic designer, and stage designer whose practice moved fluidly between Constructivism, Suprematism, and Expressionism in the early twentieth century. Active in post-revolutionary Soviet culture, he shaped the visual vocabulary of avant-garde theater and graphic design before emigrating to Western Europe in the 1920s. His work bridged abstraction and figuration, employing bold geometric forms and dynamic compositional strategies across painting, typography, and theatrical set design.
