Vera Neumann was an American textile and fashion designer whose bold geometric prints and innovative use of color defined postwar American design. Working under the brand name Vera, she created scarves, fabrics, and apparel that brought modernist abstraction into domestic and commercial markets. Her designs combined fine art sensibility with accessible manufacturing, establishing a distinctive vocabulary of saturated hues, dynamic linear forms, and playful pattern composition that influenced American textile design for decades.
