Vladimir Stenberg was a Russian graphic designer and poster artist whose bold montage compositions and geometric typography defined Soviet avant-garde visual culture from the 1920s onward. Working primarily in lithography and collage, he developed a distinctive approach that combined photomontage with dynamic Constructivist typography, creating posters for theater, cinema, and state institutions. His work synthesized elements of Cubism and Futurism with the revolutionary aesthetic principles of early Soviet design. Stenberg's formal innovation and influence on graphic design extended across decades of Soviet cultural production.
