Why this artist matters now
Carlos Rojas was a Colombian painter and sculptor whose practice centered on kinetic forms, spatial illusion, and the interplay of light and movement. Working from the 1950s onward, he developed constructed objects and paintings that engaged abstraction as a vehicle for investigating perception and time.
