Alain Kirili was a French sculptor whose abstract forms in stone and bronze engaged with modernist reduction and spatial presence. Working across carved and cast materials, his work distilled figuration into elemental geometries that maintained a sense of bodily weight and monumentality. Active from the 1970s onward, Kirili's practice emerged within the postwar European tradition of abstract sculpture while maintaining a distinct focus on the material integrity of each piece.
