Thomas Florschuetz is a German photographer whose practice interrogates how photography fragments and reconstructs spatial perception through close examination of architectural detail and material surface. Working in both color and black-and-white, his images collapse the distinction between abstraction and representation, treating the photographic plane itself as subject matter. His investigations of light, texture, and compositional rupture resist conventional landscape or documentary reading.
