Why this artist matters now
Minna Citron was an American painter and printmaker whose work ranged from social realism to abstraction across a career spanning nearly a century. Active from the 1920s onward, she engaged with both figurative subjects and geometric abstraction, working in oil, watercolor, and lithography.
