Ask a plain question — movements, influence, education, exhibitions, holdings, peers. Every answer carries its provenance.
Carlo Marochetti was an Italian-born French sculptor who worked across France, Italy, and Britain, completing public sculptures, reliefs, memorials, and equestrian monuments in bronze and marble, predominantly in a neo-classical style. After settling in England in 1848, he received commissions from Queen Victoria. He was created a baron in Italy and awarded the Legion of Honour by France.
