Shelagh Cluett is a British sculptor known for large-scale metal works that gained prominence on the London art scene in the early 1980s. Working from the late 1960s through 2007, she developed a distinctive approach to monumental form in steel and metal, exhibited internationally. Cluett taught at Chelsea School of Art and Design for 25 years, becoming Head of Postgraduate Studies in 2006. Her practice bridged rigorous material investigation with pedagogical commitment to sculpture as a foundational discipline.
