The Chicago Painter was an anonymous Athenian red-figure vase painter active in the mid-5th century BC, identified by John Beazley through recurring stylistic details across attributed works. Named after a stamnos acquired by the Art Institute of Chicago in 1889, the painter was likely a follower of the Villa Giulia Painter and recognized as a capable draftsman within the Attic tradition.
